Palo Alto College announced as no-cost COVID-19 testing site

The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District will be hosting no-cost COVID-19 testing at several Alamo Colleges District facilities, including Palo Alto College, to help reduce wait times in the area.

COVID-19 testing will be offered at the College beginning Jan. 7, Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center lobby.

COVID testing (PCR tests) will be run by Community Labs on a walk-up basis only (no appointment necessary) and results will be provided within 24 hours.

Two other testing sites will be available – Alamo Colleges District Support Operations Building and St. Philips College – opening Thursday, Jan. 6, and Monday, Jan. 10, respectively. All three sites will operate Monday – Friday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Click here to learn more and view additional COVID-19 testing sites throughout San Antonio.

Please note that this COVID-19 testing site is intended for general public use, and employees should continue to use Community Labs testing services offered in Student Center (Rm 130).
